From the Top
Started in the play yard this evening. Goal was to get her to have fun and move her feet! Finally got her to trot over a couple of logs as first she would trot right up and then carefully walk over, which is nice, but I just wanted her to move.
The curtain is really good for her head /ear issue as she had to brush through it. Once she got her head through she was fine, but to trust it wouldn't hurt took a few minutes.
The small step was a bit of a challenge just because it was small...
I then moved to the arena and went in the back gate, forgetting that the main gate was still open , I let her go to do some liberty. We went around and then oops, open gate, out she went just at walk, and started up the hill. Just a few steps past the log, she stopped and looked back at me and waited! Back in the arena, really nice following!
So I decided to sit on her again (well... I was prepared as I had my helmet with me. ) She was great and so here are your from the top pictures.
We walked around a little and had treats from the top and practiced some lateral flexion. She was alert to me and walked easily forward when asked!
